👋 Introduction

LexiMaster ("we", "our", or "us") is a vocabulary learning application developed by Md. Khairul Bashar. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the LexiMaster mobile application.

By using LexiMaster, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

📋 Information We Collect

LexiMaster collects only the minimum information necessary to provide the app's features:

• Display Name — A name you choose yourself when joining the Global League feature. This is visible to other users on the leaderboard.
• Country — The country you select when joining the Global League. This is visible to other users on the leaderboard.
• Gameplay Data — Your XP points, level, streak, accuracy, and words learned. This is used to show your progress and rank on the leaderboard.
• Device Identifier — A randomly generated anonymous ID stored on your device to identify your account. This is not linked to your real identity.

The Global League feature is optional. If you do not join the League, no data is sent to our servers.

🎯 How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely for the following purposes:

• To display your ranking on the Global Leaderboard
• To enable head-to-head vocabulary battles with other players
• To show your learning progress within the app
• To send daily study reminders (only if you enable this feature)

We do not use your information for advertising profiling, selling to third parties, or any purpose beyond providing the app's features.

☁️ Third-Party Services

LexiMaster uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Firestore — Used to store leaderboard scores and battle data. Data is stored on Google's secure servers. Firebase Privacy Policy →
• Google AdMob — Used to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect device information and advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads. Google Privacy Policy →
• Google Translate TTS API — Used to pronounce vocabulary words. The word text is sent to Google's servers to generate audio. No personal data is sent.
• LanguageTool API — Used for the Grammar Checker feature. Text you type into the Grammar Checker is sent to LanguageTool's servers for analysis. LanguageTool Privacy Policy →

📢 Advertising

LexiMaster displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads help keep the app free for all users.

AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Watching a short advertisement is required to proceed to the next lesson. This supports the continued development of LexiMaster.

👶 Children's Privacy

LexiMaster is a vocabulary learning app suitable for users of all ages, including children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The only data collected through the optional League feature (display name and country) is chosen by the user and contains no personally identifiable information.

Parents or guardians who believe their child has submitted personal information should contact us at kbashar101404@yahoo.com and we will promptly delete it.

💾 Data Storage and Security

Your learning progress (XP, level, learned words) is stored locally on your device and is not shared unless you join the Global League.

League data (display name, country, XP, level) is stored on Google Firebase servers with industry-standard security measures.

We retain your data for as long as you use the app. If you uninstall the app, locally stored data is deleted. Firebase data may be retained for up to 90 days after inactivity.

🔔 Notifications

LexiMaster can send daily study reminders if you enable this feature. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve sending any data to external servers.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device's notification settings or within the app.

⚖️ Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — You can view all data you have submitted through the League profile screen.
• Deletion — You can request deletion of your leaderboard data by contacting us. Locally stored data can be deleted by clearing the app's data in your device settings.
• Opt-out — You can choose not to join the Global League, in which case no data is sent to our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of LexiMaster after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
